MAJALENGKA – Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Ulang Tahun Kejaksaan ke-82, Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Majalengka menggelar Pasar Murah di halaman kantor Kejari, Selasa (12/8). Kegiatan ini juga dibarengi dengan pembukaan Gerakan Pangan Murah (GPM) 2025 di halaman Kantor Desa Waringin, Kecamatan Palasah, yang dihadiri langsung Bupati Majalengka H. Eman Suherman.
Kepala Kejari Majalengka Wawan Kustiawan, SH mengatakan, pasar murah ini merupakan hasil kolaborasi Kejari, Pemerintah Kabupaten Majalengka, Perum Bulog, dan pelaku usaha lokal.
“Tujuannya untuk menjaga stabilitas harga pangan dan meningkatkan keterjangkauan kebutuhan pokok masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Wawan menegaskan, Kejaksaan tidak hanya bertugas menegakkan hukum, tetapi juga berperan aktif dalam solusi sosial.
“Selain pasar murah, kami juga mengadakan donor darah, bakti sosial, penanaman pohon, dan akan menggelar upacara puncak pada September,” tambahnya.
