BANDUNG – Perwakilan mahasiswa dari Kabupaten Kuningan, Jawa Barat, membawa suara kritis mereka ke tingkat provinsi. Mereka menghadiri dialog terbuka yang digelar Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Jawa Barat dengan perwakilan 80 perguruan tinggi se-Jabar, Rabu (3/9/2025).
Dalam forum itu, mereka menyampaikan sejumlah tuntutan yang sebelumnya telah diserukan dalam aksi unjuk rasa di depan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Kabupaten Kuningan.
Dua perwakilan yang hadir adalah Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Universitas Kuningan (Uniku) dan BEM Universitas Islam Al-Ihya (Unisa) Kuningan. Dalam dialog yang dihadiri Sekretaris Daerah Jawa Barat Herman Suryatman itu, aspirasi mahasiswa Kuningan mendapat respons.
“Tuntutan yang disampaikan oleh teman-teman mahasiswa, kami akan tindaklanjuti. Teman-teman sudah turut menyampaikan aspirasi baik dari DPRD maupun DPR RI, aspirasi itu semua untuk mensejahterakan masyarakat,” ujar Herman, seperti terlihat dalam sebuah video yang dibagikan kepada tim cikalpedia.id.
Herman menyatakan apresiasinya. “Kami bangga ternyata teman-teman mahasiswa tidak hanya belajar di kampus, tetapi belajar langsung di realita sosial untuk turut serta memperjuangkan kepentingan masyarakat. Kami respect kepada teman-teman mahasiswa,” katanya.
Namun, perhatian utama mahasiswa tertuju pada pemimpin daerah mereka. Yoyo Satrio, salah satu mahasiswa Universitas Kuningan, menitipkan pesan keras untuk Bupati Kuningan, Dian Rachmat Yanuar. Pesan itu berisi desakan agar Bupati merawat dan menjaga Kuningan untuk lebih baik lagi, terutama dalam merumuskan kebijakan yang memprioritaskan kebutuhan rakyat.
