KUNINGAN – Deru roda kembali akan membelah jantung Kota Kuningan, Minggu pagi, (14/9/2025). Setelah etape panjang sehari sebelumnya, ajang Tour de Linggarjati (TdL) ke-8 ditutup dengan nomor Criterium yang digelar di kawasan pertokoan Jalan Siliwangi. Start dan finis berada tepat di pusat keramaian kota, menjadikannya tontonan akbar bagi ribuan warga yang diperkirakan memadati jalur balapan.
Lintasan hanya 2,9 kilometer, tapi akan diputar berulang sesuai kategori. Total ada 11 kelas yang dipertandingkan, dari usia belia hingga Master C. Jumlah lap bervariasi, mulai dari 6 putaran untuk Women Pra Youth dan Men Master C, hingga 14 lap untuk kelas bergengsi Men Elite. Format ini menuntut stamina, konsistensi, dan kecepatan sprint di setiap tikungan.
“Criterium selalu menghadirkan ketegangan. Pembalap tidak hanya dituntut cepat, tapi juga jeli membaca momen serangan dan mampu bertahan dalam ritme tinggi,” ujar Ketua Panitia, dr. Yanuar Firdaus.
