KUNINGAN – Hujan deras disertai angin kencang yang melanda Kuningan pada Selasa pagi, (19/8/2025), menyebabkan sebuah pohon besar tumbang di Jalan Siliwangi, tepat di depan Pendopo Kabupaten Kuningan. Peristiwa terjadi sekitar pukul 06.00 WIB dan sempat mengganggu arus lalu lintas di jalur utama kota.
Beruntung, tidak ada korban jiwa dalam kejadian tersebut. “Korban nihil, hanya lalu lintas sempat tersendat karena sebagian badan jalan tertutup dahan pohon,” kata Kepala Pelaksana BPBD Kuningan Indra Bayu Permana.
Pohon berdiameter sekitar 30 sentimeter dengan tinggi 12 meter itu patah akibat hembusan angin kencang. Arus kendaraan sempat tersendat hingga petugas gabungan dari BPBD, Damkar, TNI, Polri, dan aparat desa turun tangan melakukan evakuasi.
