KUNINGAN – Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) masih dalam perbincangan publik, terutama banyak yang mempertanyakan kehalalan bahan baku yang dipakai untuk MBG.
Menanggapi hal itu, Kepala Kantor Kementerian Agama Kuningan, melalui Kasi Bimbingan Masyarakat Islam, Ahmad Syahid Ridlo Maulana, angkat bicara.
Sebelumnya, Kementerian Agama RI sudah membentuk satuan kerja yakni Direktorat Jaminan Produk Halal (DJPH) binaan Ditjen Bimas Islam. Satuan tersebut berperan untuk memastikan bahan baku yang dipakai untuk MBG.
”Intruksi tersebut kami belum dapat info, namun kemarin sempat dari rekan-rekan beberapa penyedia MBG yang datang kesini,” ujar Ridlo, kepada Cikalpedia, Senin, (15/9).
Menurutnya, menu yang paling kritis untuk dipertanyakan kehalalannya yakni olahan daging. Masih ada pengelolaan daging yang dilakukan mandiri, sehingga proses penyembelihannya belum bisa dipastikan tersertifikasi halal.
“Jadi pada saat obrolan dengan penyedia MBG, saya tanya mengenai bahan baku daging dari mana, saya harap dapat dari salah satu perusahaan yang sudah pasti mempunyai sertifikasi halal atau penyembelihnya pernah mengikuti pelatihan. Ini mah kan nyembelih sendiri,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut, Ia tidak mempersoalkan kompetensi penyembelih, namun Ia mempertanyakan legalitas khusus, baik secara perusahaan maupun perorangan.
