KUNINGAN – Lapangan Sekretariat Daerah Kuningan menjadi saksi momen haru pada Senin pagi, 27 November 2023. Di hadapan jajaran aparatur sipil negara, Bupati Kuningan H. Acep Purnama memimpin apel terakhirnya sebagai kepala daerah, sebelum resmi mengakhiri masa jabatan pada 4 Desember mendatang.
Dalam suasana yang sarat emosi, Acep menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih atas kerja keras, loyalitas, dan kebersamaan seluruh jajaran Setda selama lima tahun terakhir. Baginya, Sekretariat Daerah bukan sekadar institusi birokrasi, melainkan rumah kedua yang penuh dengan semangat pengabdian dan kekeluargaan.
“Meski saya tinggal di Pendopo bersama keluarga, saya selalu menganggap Pendopo dan Sekretariat Daerah ini satu atap. Kita adalah keluarga yang saling menguatkan, merancang kebijakan, dan bekerja untuk kemaslahatan masyarakat,” ujar Acep dalam sambutannya.
Acep mengenang momen pertamanya sebagai Bupati Kuningan pada 2018 silam, ketika juga memimpin apel Senin pagi di tempat yang sama. “Persis di titik saya berdiri sekarang,” katanya dengan suara bergetar.
Ia juga menyinggung banyaknya kegiatan yang pernah digelar di lapangan itu—mulai dari peringatan hari besar nasional, aksi sosial, hingga agenda kedinasan. “Lima tahun berlalu seperti kilatan cahaya. Kini saatnya saya berpamitan kepada rekan-rekan yang telah menjadi bagian penting dalam perjalanan ini,” tambahnya.
Di hadapan para pegawai, Acep menyampaikan permohonan maaf bila selama masa jabatannya terdapat hal-hal yang kurang berkenan. Ia pun berpesan agar semangat pelayanan publik terus dijaga, dan Sekretariat Daerah tetap menjadi pengendali utama jalannya roda pemerintahan.
