Kuningan – Suasana hangat dan penuh semangat menyelimuti peringatan Hari Anak Nasional Tahun 2025 tingkat Kabupaten Kuningan yang digelar Minggu pagi (27/7). Dalam acara tersebut, Bunda PAUD Kuningan, Ela Helayati, S.Sos, menyampaikan pesan yang begitu menyentuh hati, bahwa hadir untuk anak-anak bukan hanya tentang memberi sekolah, tapi tentang hadir dengan cinta dan keteladanan.
“Hari Anak Nasional bukan hanya seremoni tahunan. Ini adalah momen refleksi bagi kita, orang dewasa, apakah kita sungguh-sungguh hadir dalam kehidupan mereka bukan hanya secara fisik, tetapi dengan perhatian dan komitmen penuh,” ucap Ela dalam sambutannya di hadapan para orang tua, guru, dan perwakilan organisasi masyarakat yang hadir.
Menurutnya, anak-anak adalah investasi jangka panjang bangsa. Mereka adalah masa depan Kabupaten Kuningan. Karena itu, masa tumbuh kembang mereka yang disebutnya sebagai periode emas tidak boleh terlewatkan begitu saja. Gagal memberi yang terbaik di masa ini, kata Ela, akan sulit ditebus di kemudian hari.
Ela menegaskan bahwa pendidikan anak tidak bisa dibebankan pada sekolah semata. Anak-anak butuh hak dasar yang dipenuhi secara menyeluruh mulai dari gizi, kesehatan, perlindungan dari kekerasan, hingga penguatan moral dan spiritual.
“Kita ingin anak-anak Kuningan tidak hanya cerdas intelektual, tetapi juga tangguh secara mental, sopan dalam perilaku, dan kuat dalam nilai kebangsaan dan keimanan,” ujarnya.
