Dalam sambutannya, Bupati Acep Purnama mengapresiasi masyarakat Legokherang atas komitmen mereka dalam melestarikan budaya daerah. Ia menyebut Pesta Dadung dan Sedekah Bumi bukan sekadar acara adat, tapi juga wujud syukur atas nikmat dan hasil bumi yang diberikan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa.
“Tradisi ini adalah kekayaan tak ternilai. Mari kita rawat dan ruwat bersama agar menjadi warisan yang terus hidup untuk generasi muda,” kata Acep.
Bupati juga menekankan pentingnya peran generasi muda sebagai ahli waris budaya. Ia berharap kegiatan semacam ini tidak hanya menjadi sarana pelestarian budaya, tetapi juga mempererat silaturahmi antarwarga.
“Mari jadikan kegiatan budaya seperti ini sebagai ruang membangun nilai-nilai positif di tengah masyarakat,” imbuhnya.
