Agenda besar dalam Calender Of Event Tahun 2024 adalah Ciremai Festival yang digagas oleh Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Kuningan sukses di gelar secara meriah.
Agenda itu dihadiri Sekretaris Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan, Dr. Ir. Bambang Hendroyono, MM, berserta jajaran, Kadisparbud Jabar Benny Bachtiar, Direktur Jaringan dan Pembudayaan BPIP RI, Toto Purbiyanto, Danrem 063 SGJ, Kol Inf.Bayu Sudarmanto, para perwakilan Bupati/Walikota Se Jawa Barat, Forkompimda Kuningan, para Kepala SKPD dan undangan lainnya.
Pembukaan lebih meriah diisi dengan pertunjukan Tari Buyung, kemudian ada pertunjukan angklung diatonis kolosal. Selanjutnya, pembukaan Ciremai Fest ditandai dengan di tekannya tombol virtual yang menandakan berbagai agenda untuk mengisi Festival Ciremai juga dimulai. Diiringi suara angklung diatonis yang dimainkan oleh ribuan pelajar jenjang paud, SD dan SMP menyemarakan suasana Opening Ceremony.
Kesempatan itu juga, Muatan Lokal Gunung Ciremai juga secara resmi di launching. Hal ini sebagai upaya memberikan pembelajaran kepada peserta didik dari berbagai jenjang pendidikan, dari tingkatan Paud hingga Perguruan Tinggi untuk mendapatkan pemahaman dalam melestarikan alam melalui Gunung Ciremai.
Selepas kegiatan Opening Ceremony Ciremai Fest, dilanjutkan dengan pelepasan atlet trail run dalam gelaran Jabar Ultra Trail Run Long Course 55 KM. Puluhan atlet dilepas oleh Pj Bupati Kuningan, Kadisparbud Jabar dan Sekjen KLHK untuk menempuh perjalanan sepanjang total 55 kilometer dengan capaian tiga kali puncak Ciremai.
