KUNINGAN – Pemerintah pusat menaruh perhatian serius pada percepatan pembangunan Rintisan Sekolah Rakyat di Kabupaten Kuningan. Direktur Jenderal Prasarana Strategis Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR), Bisma Staniarto, S.T., M.Sc., langsung meninjau kesiapan fasilitas di SMPN 6 Kuningan, Minggu, (14/9/2025).
Kedatangan Dirjen Bisma disambut Bupati Kuningan, Dr. H. Dian Rachmat Yanuar, M.Si., bersama Wakil Bupati Tuti Andriani, Pj. Sekda Dr. Wahyu Hidayah, dan sejumlah pejabat daerah. Kunjungan ini menjadi penanda bahwa proyek pendidikan untuk anak-anak dari keluarga miskin ekstrem itu dipacu dengan tenggat ketat.
“Kami dorong percepatan. Targetnya, 29 September siswa sudah masuk asrama dan mulai belajar. Karena Pembangunan ini bagian dari arahan Presiden untuk memastikan pemerataan akses Pendidikan di daerah,” kata Bisma.
Bupati Dian memastikan seluruh fasilitas akan rampung pada 25 September. Dua hari berikutnya, murid yang telah terdata bakal menjalani tes kesehatan sebelum menempati asrama. “Ini sepenuhnya dibiayai APBN. Mohon doa agar penyempurnaan sesuai jadwal,” ujarnya.
