KUNINGAN – Dewan Kerja Cabang (DKC) Gerakan Pramuka Kabupaten Kuningan sukses menggelar kegiatan Jambore On The Air (JOTA) dan Jambore On The Internet (JOTI) tahun 2025. Kegiatan itu dinilai sebagai wujud adaptif era digital.
Kegiatan tersebut diikuti oleh hampir 2.000 peserta dari berbagai gugus depan se-Kabupaten Kuningan, yang terdiri dari golongan Penggalang, Penegak, dan Pandega yang berlangsung di Gedung Kwartir Cabang Kabupaten Kuningan dan MTs Negeri 10 Kuningan, Minggu, (19/10).
Dengan mengusung tema “A World Shaped by Youth” atau Dunia yang di bentuk oleh pemuda, dihadiri oleh Wakil Bupati Kuningan, Tuti Andriyani, Asisten Daerah (Asda) I Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Kuningan, Toni Kusumanto, Kapolsek Cilimus, serta jajaran pengurus Kwartir Ranting dan Cabang Se-kabupaten Kuningan.
Dalam sambutannya, Ketua Dewan Kerja Cabang Kabupaten Kuningan, Gyaranni Sya’ziah, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan JOTA-JOTI merupakan momentum penting bagi Pramuka di era digital. Ia juga menekankan kepada anggota pramuka agar melek terhadap perkembangan zaman yang serba digital.
“Saya sangat senang, penyelengggaraan JOTA JOTI pada kali ini berlangsung meriah dengan antusiasme peserta yang banyak. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa minat pemuda pemudi kabupaten Kuningan terhadap gerakan kepramukaan tinggi,” tuturnya.
Menurutnya. JOTA dan JOTI bukan sekadar ajang komunikasi melalui udara dan internet, tetapi juga sarana pembentukan karakter, kedisiplinan, wadah pengetahuan, serta kemampuan literasi digital bagi anggota Pramuka di Kabupaten Kuningan. Melalui hal itu, Pramuka bisa menjadi jembatan untuk membuka wawasan yang luas dan terhubung dengan dunia luar.
“Kegiatan ini sangat positif, baik skala lokal hingga internasional” ujar Gyaranni.
Sementara itu, Ketua Kwartir Cabang Gerakan Pramuka Kabupaten Kuningan, Rana Suparman, menegaskan bahwa kegiatan tersebut merupakan wujud nyata pembinaan Pramuka yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman.
“Saya merasa bangga, DKC Kabupaten Kuningan sukses melaksanakan kegiatan JOTA JOTI dan membuktikan bahwa Pramuka Penegak dan Pandega memiliki motivasi yang tinggi, haus ilmu dan produktif,” tuturnya.
