KUNINGAN – Persaingan memperebutkan kursi Ketua DPC PDIP Kabupaten Kuningan semakin memanas menjelang akhir proses penjaringan. Pengamat politik Sujarwo, yang akrab disapa Mang Ewo, memprediksi persaingan akan mengerucut pada sejumlah figur yang telah mengikuti tahapan penjaringan di tingkat PAC beberapa waktu lalu.
Menurut Mang Ewo, proses penjaringan yang digelar di tingkat ranting dan PAC selama beberapa bulan terakhir telah menyingkirkan sejumlah kandidat, sehingga tahap akhir kini tinggal beberapa nama kuat yang berpeluang memimpin partai di Kabupaten Kuningan.
“Semakin dekatnya akhir kompetisi ini, kita bisa melihat calon Ketua DPC yang potensial mulai menonjol. Namun yang penting, sosok tersebut sebaiknya bukan kader yang disibukkan oleh jabatan di legislatif maupun eksekutif. Dengan demikian, waktu dan energi bisa fokus membesarkan partai dan mengawal kader di semua tingkatan,” kata Mang Ewo, Selasa (16/9/2025).
Sementara itu, Boy Sandi Kartanegara juga menyoroti kualitas para kandidat yang bersaing. Menurutnya, semua nama yang masuk dalam penjaringan merupakan kader hebat dan tangguh. Keberhasilan PDIP mempertahankan kursi terbanyak di DPRD Kabupaten Kuningan tidak lepas dari kerja keras para kader di bawah yang mendapat dukungan penuh dari seluruh jaringan partai.
