KUNINGAN – Program 100 hari kerja Bupati Kuningan, Dian Rachmat Yanuar, mulai menunjukkan hasil. Sebanyak dua kwintal ikan nila berhasil dipanen dari 7.500 benih yang ditebar sejak 12 Maret lalu melalui program “Pasukan Paus”.
Panen perdana dilakukan di Embung Idola, Dusun Dogdog, Desa Margamukti, Kecamatan Cimahi, Kamis (24/7). Program ini, menurut Bupati, bukan sekadar proyek perikanan, tapi bagian dari upaya meningkatkan ekonomi dan gizi masyarakat.
“Dari bibit senilai Rp1 juta bisa menghasilkan ikan sekitar Rp6 juta. Separuhnya bisa dijual untuk modal, separuh lagi dibagikan ke masyarakat agar ada nilai gizinya,” kata Dian di hadapan warga.
Bupati juga menginginkan agar keberhasilan ini jadi model berkelanjutan. Ia mendorong agar jumlah benih ke depan bisa ditingkatkan menjadi 10–12 ribu ekor.
