KUNINGAN – Peringatan Hari Jadi Kuningan ke-527 tahun 2025 berlangsung khidmat dengan digelarnya Haul Syekh Maulana Akbar dan istigasah bersama di Taman Pandapa, Senin (25/8).
Ratusan jamaah dari berbagai pelosok daerah memadati kawasan pusat kota untuk ikut larut dalam doa bersama, mengenang jasa ulama besar yang menjadi bagian penting dalam sejarah berdirinya Kuningan.
Haul Syekh Maulana Akbar yang menjadi tradisi tahunan ini tidak hanya sebagai bentuk penghormatan terhadap sosok ulama penyebar Islam di Kuningan, tetapi juga momentum memperkuat spiritualitas masyarakat.
Doa-doa dilantunkan penuh kekhusyukan, diiringi lantunan shalawat dan ayat suci al-Qur’an yang menambah suasana religius peringatan hari jadi daerah.
Dalam kesempatan itu, Bupati Kuningan, Dr. Dian rachmat Yanuar, menegaskan bahwa haul dan istigasah tersebut merupakan warisan nilai yang harus terus dijaga.
