Menurut Uha, rekomendasi pembangunan dikeluarkan meskipun dalam kajian tata ruang, lokasi proyek berada di kawasan rawan bencana letusan gunung api.
“Ini sangat berbahaya. Apalagi ada perluasan wilayah yang melebihi denah awal serta dugaan penyalahgunaan air tanah untuk fasilitas hotel,” ujarnya.
Uha juga menuding lemahnya penegakan hukum sebagai penyebab banyaknya penyimpangan tata ruang di Kuningan. Ia menilai, kuatnya kepentingan sektoral dan kemungkinan gratifikasi turut memperparah situasi.
“Kondisi ini tidak bisa dibiarkan. Sudah saatnya aparat penegak hukum bersikap tegas dan menjadikan kasus ini sebagai pintu masuk penataan ulang kebijakan pembangunan di Kuningan,” tegasnya.
Uha menyerukan agar komunitas lingkungan seperti Aktivis Anak Rimba (AKAR) dan kelompok pecinta alam lainnya ikut bersuara untuk menolak perizinan yang mengancam kelestarian lingkungan dan ekosistem.
“Dan kepada penyidik Tipiter Polda Jabar, tegakkan keadilan, meski langit runtuh,” pungkas Uha. (ali)
