KUNINGAN – Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Kuningan menerima bantuan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dalam rangka peringatan Hari Ulang Tahun ke-47 Pasar Modal Indonesia. Bantuan tersebut diserahkan secara simbolis di teras Pendopo Kuningan dan diterima langsung oleh Penjabat Bupati Kuningan, Raden Iip Hidajat.
CSR yang diberikan berupa pembangunan sarana sanitasi untuk mendukung UMKM dan fasilitas pendidikan. Kegiatan ini diinisiasi oleh sejumlah lembaga pasar modal seperti Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (KPEI), dan Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI).
Direktur Perdagangan dan Pengaturan Anggota Bursa BEI, Irvan Susandy, mengatakan bahwa pembangunan sektor pendidikan dan UMKM merupakan bagian dari komitmen pasar modal dalam mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan di daerah.
“Kami percaya pendidikan adalah hak setiap anak. Fasilitas pendidikan yang memadai bisa mendorong semangat belajar dan membawa mereka meraih cita-cita,” ujar Irvan.
