KUNINGAN – Jalan penghubung Cipari–Cisantana sepanjang 2,2 kilometer kini resmi dapat dimanfaatkan masyarakat. Proyek yang dikerjakan oleh PT Mahakarya Limac, Jakarta Timur ini diresmikan langsung oleh Bupati Kuningan Acep Purnama, satu hari menjelang masa akhir jabatannya, dalam momen Peringatan Hari Bakti PU ke-78 dan Hari Jalan Nasional 2023, Sabtu (2/12).
Jalan baru yang memiliki lebar 7 meter ini menjadi jalur strategis penghubung ke kawasan wisata unggulan seperti Palutungan, Cisantana, hingga Gunung Ciremai. Lapisan hotmix yang mulus dan struktur jalan yang lebar kini dinilai mampu mendongkrak sektor pariwisata dan memperlancar distribusi logistik di wilayah timur Kabupaten Kuningan.
“Jalan Cipari–Cisantana ini bukan sekadar infrastruktur fisik, tapi infrastruktur sosial dan ekonomi. Ini akan membuka akses bagi pengembangan wisata, pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat, dan memperluas ruang tumbuh UMKM,” ujar Acep dalam sambutannya.
Ia menyampaikan apresiasi kepada Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) atas realisasi proyek melalui Balai Besar Pengembangan Jalan Nasional DKI–Jawa Barat, yang dinilai menjadi solusi atas keterbatasan APBD daerah.
Dukungan Infrastruktur Pariwisata di Kaki Ciremai
Acep menegaskan, kawasan Cisantana–Palutungan–Cigugur telah lama menjadi simpul wisata alam, religi, dan budaya yang potensial. Namun, minimnya infrastruktur aksesibilitas kerap menjadi kendala dalam mengoptimalkan potensi tersebut.
“Kami percaya, pembangunan jalan ini akan menumbuhkan efek domino bagi kemajuan ekonomi, sosial, hingga ekologi kawasan. Ini investasi jangka panjang bagi masa depan Kuningan sebagai kabupaten wisata,” katanya.
Jalan baru ini juga diharapkan mampu mengurai kemacetan dari jalur utama, terutama saat akhir pekan atau musim libur, di mana ribuan wisatawan memadati destinasi wisata alam dan religi di sekitar Cisantana dan Palutungan.
