Kalau memang benar kondisi keuangan sedang genting, mari adil, potong juga anggaran pokir, revisi kegiatan reses, dan batasi kunjungan-kunjungan “tak penting”. Jangan jadikan ASN tumbal keuangan, sementara dewan tetap jadi raja anggaran.
Ingat, solidaritas bukan berarti yang kecil terus disuruh berkorban, sementara yang besar terus berpesta.
Jangan lupa, ASN bukan sekadar nomor induk pegawai. Mereka adalah orang tua, pencari nafkah, dan pilar ekonomi keluarga. Ketika pendapatan mereka dipotong, bukan hanya kinerja yang terdampak, tapi juga kehidupan di rumah tangga mereka.
Jika kondisi keuangan benar-benar berat, bicarakan dengan jujur. Libatkan perwakilan ASN dalam diskusi. Paparkan data, buka ruang dialog. ASN bisa menerima jika mereka merasa dilibatkan dan dihormati. Yang menyakitkan adalah jika kebijakan diambil secara sepihak.
Menjalankan pemerintahan bukan hanya soal hitungan anggaran, tapi soal menjaga kepercayaan dan semangat kolektif. ASN adalah wajah negara di mata rakyat. Jika wajah ini kita sakiti, bagaimana mungkin pelayanan publik akan tersenyum?
Maka, sebelum memotong TPP, mari kita cari jalan yang lebih adil, lebih manusiawi, dan lebih solutif. Karena kadang, menjaga martabat orang-orang yang melayani, jauh lebih penting dari sekadar menyelamatkan angka-angka di neraca keuangan.
ASN tidak sedang menolak berkorban. Mereka hanya ingin keadilan. Jika negara atau daerah sedang sulit, mereka bisa menerima kenyataan. Tapi jangan biarkan mereka sendirian memikul beban, sementara sebagian elit duduk di atas tumpukan proposal pokir yang gemuk.
Jangan sampai kelak ASN menuliskan sejarahnya sendiri:
“Kami yang bekerja, kami yang dikorbankan. Kami yang melayani, kami pula yang dikurangi.”
