Wacana dapur MBG di kantin sekolah mencuat seiring dengan dinamika dan temuan kasus keracunan karena pelaksanaan MBG. Banyak yang menilai, resiko pengolahan makanan di kantin sekolah lebih kecil jika dibanding dapur MBG yang dikelola yayasan atau pihak lain sejenisnya.
