KARAWANG — Penjabat Bupati Kuningan, Raden Iip Hidajat, menghadiri peringatan Hari Koperasi Nasional ke-77 tingkat Provinsi Jawa Barat yang digelar di Lapangan Street Carnival Galuh Mas, Kabupaten Karawang. Kegiatan ini dirangkaikan dengan Gelar Produk Koperasi dari seluruh Jawa Barat.
Iip hadir didampingi Ketua TP PKK Kuningan, Susi Widyawati, serta Kepala Dinas Koperasi, UKM, Perdagangan dan Perindustrian Kuningan, Trisman Supriatna. Dua koperasi unggulan binaan Kuningan turut ambil bagian, yaitu Koperasi Mitra Surya Kemuning dan Koperasi Konsumen El Arbah Kunci Maju.
Dengan mengusung tema “Koperasi sebagai Ekosistem untuk Konsolidasi, Akselerasi, dan Eskalasi Ekonomi Mikro dan Kecil”, peringatan ini menekankan pentingnya koperasi sebagai kekuatan ekonomi rakyat di tengah dinamika global.
Penjabat Gubernur Jawa Barat, Bey Machmudin, menyebut koperasi punya peran strategis untuk membawa Indonesia keluar dari middle income trap. “Koperasi adalah solusi pembiayaan mikro yang paling banyak diakses rumah tangga Indonesia setelah bank umum,” kata Bey.
