Kehadiran Polisi bermula dari kemacetan yang disebabkan kumpulan masyarakat sekitar dan pengendara yang penasaran melihat kejadian. Kanit Gakkum Satlantas Polres Kuningan, IPTU Sri Martini, yang kebetulan melintas lokasi itu segera turun dari kendaraan dan melakukan penanganan.
”Pada saat kami melintas, kami lihat ada macet. Setelah dicek ternyata ada warga seorang laki-laki yang mengalami gangguan jiwa sedang mengamuk,” ujarnya, Rabu (8/10/2025)
Setelah berhasil diamankan oleh Satpol-PP, pihak keluarga berencana mengevakuasi, Y, ke rumah sakit untuk memberikan penanganan luka yang dideritanya. Pihak keluarga menghubungi layanan ambulan tetapi tidak ada respon, sehingga akhirnya penanganan diwakili mobil Patwal.
“Kami bersama keluarganya mencoba untuk menenangkan Y agar tidak mengamuk lagi. Setelah tenang, kami bantu Y dibawa ke RSUD Linggarjati agar dapat penanganan. Karena menunggu ambulance tidak kunjung datang, maka Y kami evakuasi menggunakan mobil yang ada,” ujarnya.
Setelah dibawa ke RSUD Linggajati, kelaurga Y mengucapkan terimakasih kepada pihak yang terlibat dalam evakuasi tersebut, terutama pihak kepolisian yang sudah membantu menggunakan mobil polisi untuk membawa Y ke rumah sakit.
”Terimakasih kepada polisi yang sudah membawa Y ke rumah sakit. Saya sudah telpon ambulance tetapi tidak datang-datang. Khawatir akan mengamuk lagi, makanya kami langsung bawa ke RSUD Linggarjati,” ucapnya.
Evakuasi yang dramatis itu ditangani oleh sejumlah Satpol PP yang lengkap menggunakan pakaian keamanannya. Tidak hanya itu, pihak TNI, kepolisian, dan warga juga turut mengamankan ODGJ tersebut.
Peristiwa tersebut menjadi perhatian masyarakat sekitar sekaligus mengingatkan pentingnya respon cepat dalam menangani amukan ODGJ. Tidak hanya itu, penanganan berhasil dilakukan berkat kerjasama antara warga sekitar dengan petugas keamanan, termasuk kepolisian dan TNI. (Icu)
