KUNINGAN — Menjelang libur Natal dan Tahun Baru 2025, Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Kabupaten Kuningan mulai melakukan penambalan jalan di sejumlah titik menuju objek wisata. Perbaikan ini dilakukan sebagai antisipasi lonjakan kendaraan dan kunjungan wisatawan.
Kepala Bidang Bina Marga, Teddy Sukmajayadi, menyebutkan bahwa survei bersama dengan Satlantas Polres Kuningan telah dilakukan untuk menentukan titik prioritas perbaikan.
“Kedatangan wisatawan umumnya dari arah utara, jadi fokus utama kami di segmen Caracas, termasuk pembersihan bahu jalan dan rumput,” ujar Teddy, Selasa (17/12).
Selain Caracas, Dinas PUPR juga melakukan penambalan di segmen Cisantana–Palutungan, kawasan Taman Kota, dan jalan protokol yang sebelumnya terdampak banjir. Tak hanya itu, jalur Cileuleuy pun ikut diperbaiki sebagai rute alternatif bila Palutungan mengalami kepadatan arus.
