Angka-angka itu belum termasuk gaji pokok, perjalanan dinas, serta fasilitas lain yang melekat pada jabatan mereka, sehingga total pemasukan seorang wakil rakyat nyaris menyaingi pejabat tinggi negara.
Menurut Fuad, DPR RI memangkas tunjangan bagi anggota dewan pasca terjadi gejolak penolakan demonstrasi. Ia menilai bahwa hal itu harus dicontoh oleh DPRD Kuningan. Jangan menurunkan karena didemo terlebih dahulu.
”Langkah ini harusnya menjadi cermin bagi DPRD Kuningan, apalagi Kuningan berada di titik krisis keuangan. Fakta gagal bayar hingga harus melakukan pinjaman ke bank adalah tanda lampu merah. Pinjaman itu tentu tidak gratis ada bunga yang justru menambah beban fiskal daerah,” ujarnya, Senin, (8/9).
Tidak hanya itu, ia juga menyinggung TPP ASN yang menurutnya pegawai negeri ikut menanggung keuangan daerah yang berlubang. Karena hal itu, Fuad berharap anggaran tunjangan anggota DPRD Kuningan patut untuk di pangkas.
”Di tengah kondisi seperti ini, publik tentu berharap DPRD Kabupaten Kuningan menunjukkan solidaritas nyata. Bahwa mereka pun bersedia terdampak, bersedia dipangkas tunjangannya, demi menyelamatkan APBD yang kini megap-megap,” tuturnya.
Lebih lanjut, dengan kondisi seperti itu, ia mempertanyakan apakah DPRD Kuningan hanya mau jadi penonton ketika rakyat berkorban, atau berani menunjukkan rasa iba dengan ikut menanggung derita.
”Masyarakat dipaksa berhemat, ASN dipangkas TPP-nya, bahkan pemerintah daerah rela berutang ke bank tapi DPRD tetap tenang dengan tunjangan puluhan juta per bulan. Seolah-olah penderitaan rakyat adalah tontonan gratis, dan empati hanyalah kata asing dalam kamus mereka,” lanjutnya.
Sebagai penutup, ia menegaskan jika DPRD Kuningan tak berani memangkas hak istimewanya sendiri, menurutnya mungkin lebih baik kursi empuk di gedung dewan itu diganti dengan kursi kayu panjang seperti di balai desa.
”Setidaknya, rakyat akan tahu duduk di sana bukan untuk mencari kenyamanan, melainkan untuk benar-benar mendengar jeritan rakyat,” pungkasnya. (Icu)
