KUNINGAN – Masa jabatan Bupati Kuningan H. Acep Purnama dan Wakil Bupati H.M. Ridho Suganda tinggal 46 hari lagi. Namun hingga kini, DPRD Kabupaten Kuningan belum juga mengajukan nama calon Penjabat (Pj) Bupati Kuningan ke Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri).
Kondisi ini menimbulkan tanda tanya besar di tengah masyarakat. Warga kini hanya bisa berspekulasi terkait siapa sosok yang akan melanjutkan estafet kepemimpinan daerah setelah kepemimpinan Acep-Ridho berakhir per 4 Desember 2023 mendatang.
Padahal, jika daftar nama calon Pj Bupati Kuningan telah diumumkan secara resmi, masyarakat dapat memberikan masukan terhadap rekam jejak dan kapabilitas kandidat yang diusulkan.
Dua Nama Mencuat: Iwan Kurniawan vs H. Dian Rachmat Yanuar
Pengamat kebijakan publik Kuningan, Sujarwo alias Mang Ewo, mengungkapkan bahwa saat ini beredar dua nama kuat yang digadang-gadang bakal menjadi Pj Bupati Kuningan, yakni:
- Iwan Kurniawan, pejabat eselon II di Kementerian Dalam Negeri RI, yang disebut memiliki kedekatan dengan pengambil kebijakan pusat.
- H. Dian Rachmat Yanuar, Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kuningan, sekaligus pejabat senior yang dikenal sebagai putra daerah.
