Terpisah, Kepala Bagian Tata Pemerintahan Setda Kuningan, H. Toni Kusmanto, mengonfirmasi bahwa hingga saat ini belum ada surat dari Kemendagri terkait permintaan usulan nama Pj Bupati.
“Kita masih menunggu. Berdasarkan pengalaman di daerah lain, surat permintaan biasanya dikirim maksimal satu bulan sebelum masa jabatan kepala daerah berakhir,” terang Toni, Senin (21/10/2023).
Senada, Ketua DPRD Kuningan, Nuzul Rachdy, juga membenarkan bahwa DPRD memiliki wewenang untuk mengusulkan nama calon Pj Bupati. Namun, hingga kini belum ada pembahasan resmi terkait siapa yang akan diusulkan.
