Koordinator aksi, Dany Andriawan mengatakan, kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari kampanye kesadaran lingkungan yang digagas AMPAS agar warga sekitar lebih peduli pada kebersihan aliran sungai.
“Sungai adalah nadi kehidupan, kalau kita biarkan tercemar, maka ekosistem akan rusak dan penyakit bisa merebak. Aksi ini juga bentuk edukasi ke masyarakat,” ucap Dany, didampingi relawan Ampas, Ade.
Puluhan Karung Sampah Diangkut
Setelah hampir tiga jam menyusuri sungai dan memungut sampah rumah tangga, plastik hingga limbah domestik lainnya, para relawan berhasil mengumpulkan puluhan karung sampah yang langsung diangkut ke TPSA terdekat. (ali)
