Ketua PMI Kuningan, Ika Siti Rahmantika, mengapresiasi dukungan penuh yang diberikan Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Kuningan atas terselenggaranya agenda kemanusiaan ini. Ia menyebut, kegiatan donor darah semestinya menjadi rutinitas sosial di berbagai instansi.
“Terima kasih kepada seluruh ASN, TNI, Polri, dan masyarakat yang telah menyumbangkan darahnya hari ini. Ini adalah bentuk solidaritas yang nyata, dan kami harap lembaga-lembaga lain bisa ikut tergerak,” ucap Ika.
Menurut Ika, donor darah bukan satu-satunya kegiatan sosial yang dilakukan PMI Kuningan. Berbagai kegiatan kemanusiaan lain juga rutin digelar, termasuk penanganan bencana, edukasi kesehatan, dan layanan sosial lainnya.
“PMI akan terus hadir di tengah masyarakat, tak hanya dalam situasi darurat, tapi juga sebagai mitra aktif pemerintah dalam membangun kesadaran sosial,” kata Ika.

Ketersediaan darah yang aman dan cukup merupakan faktor penting dalam pelayanan kesehatan. Menurut data dari PMI Kuningan, kebutuhan darah di Kabupaten Kuningan masih tinggi, terutama untuk pasien yang menjalani operasi besar, cuci darah rutin, dan ibu melahirkan.
Kegiatan seperti ini diharapkan mampu menjadi sumber pasokan darah yang berkelanjutan, sekaligus membangun tradisi baru di lingkungan ASN dan masyarakat untuk menyumbang darah secara berkala.
“Kami berharap aksi donor darah ini bukan hanya berlangsung saat perayaan hari besar, tapi menjadi kebiasaan sosial yang rutin. Satu kantong darah bisa menyelamatkan tiga nyawa,” pungkas Wiwin. (ali)
