KUNINGAN – Dalam rangka mengamankan jalannya Pemilihan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati Kabupaten Kuningan Tahun 2024, Pemerintah Kabupaten Kuningan bersama TNI-Polri dan instansi terkait menggelar Apel Gelar Pasukan Operasi Mantap Brata Lodaya 2024, Selasa (20/8), di halaman Polres Kuningan.
Apel ini menjadi penanda dimulainya kesiapsiagaan jajaran keamanan terhadap seluruh tahapan pilkada. Penjabat Bupati Kuningan Raden Iip Hidajat hadir langsung untuk memimpin apel, didampingi Kapolres Kuningan AKBP Willy Andrian dan Dandim 0615/Kuningan Letkol Arh Kiki Aji Wiryawan.
Dalam sambutannya, Iip menegaskan bahwa apel ini adalah bagian dari prosedur penting untuk mengecek kesiapan personel, perlengkapan sarana, dan sinergi antar-instansi sebelum diterjunkan ke lapangan.
“Setiap tahapan pilkada memiliki potensi kerawanan masing-masing. Karena itu, apel gelar pasukan ini krusial sebagai upaya antisipasi dan kesiapsiagaan kita semua,” ujar Iip.
Tahapan Krusial Dimulai September
Iip menjelaskan, tahapan kampanye akan dimulai pada 25 September hingga 23 November 2024, mencakup pertemuan terbatas, tatap muka, penyebaran bahan kampanye, hingga pemasangan alat peraga. Sementara, puncak pemungutan suara akan berlangsung pada 27 November 2024.
“Setiap tahapan harus dikawal secara optimal. Pilkada bukan hanya soal pemilihan, tetapi bagaimana kita menciptakan suasana yang aman, damai, dan sejuk di tengah masyarakat,” kata Iip.
Ia menekankan pentingnya mental dan fisik aparat, disiplin kerja, serta pemetaan kerawanan. Selain itu, deteksi dini melalui optimalisasi peran intelijen dan Bhabinkamtibmas diminta diperkuat.
