KUNINGAN – Penjabat (Pj) Bupati Kuningan Raden Iip Hidajat meninjau langsung potensi wisata yang dimiliki Desa Cibuntu, Kecamatan Pasawahan, pada akhir pekan lalu. Kunjungan ini dilakukan usai kegiatan penanaman pohon bersama Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan di kawasan Bukit Lambosir, Desa Setianegara, Cilimus, yang merupakan bagian dari Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai (TNGC).
Didampingi Kepala Dinas Pemuda, Olahraga, dan Pariwisata (Disporapar) Kuningan, Elon Carlan, serta jajaran pejabat di lingkungan dinas terkait, Iip menyambangi sejumlah titik di Desa Cibuntu. Di antaranya adalah Curug Gongseng, Situs Purbakala Saurip Kidul, dan mata air Cikahuripan, yang dikenal memiliki kualitas air dengan pH 7, menandakan kondisi lingkungan yang masih sangat alami dan terjaga.
“Alhamdulillah, saya melihat harmonisasi rumah-rumah warga, air terjun, situs sejarah, dan sumber mata air yang bersih. Ini bukti bahwa alam Desa Cibuntu masih lestari,” kata Iip dalam keterangannya.

Menurut Iip, potensi pariwisata Cibuntu tidak hanya terletak pada keindahan alam, tapi juga pada keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan dan ketertiban lingkungan. Ia menekankan pentingnya pelestarian lingkungan agar wisatawan dapat menikmati suasana alam yang nyaman dan harmonis.
