KUNINGAN – Sebuah pohon Damar setinggi kurang lebih 15 meter tumbang dan menutupi ruas jalan Cigugur–Cisantana, Kecamatan Cigugur, Rabu malam (17/9) sekitar pukul 20.45 WIB. Peristiwa tersebut sempat menghambat arus lalu lintas di jalur tersebut.
Menurut keterangan saksi, Aip, dirinya yang tengah berjaga mendengar suara runtuhan dari arah jalan. Saat dicek, ia mendapati pohon tumbang melintang di tengah jalan. Aip kemudian melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke BPBD dan Call Center UPT Pemadam Kebakaran Satpol PP Kabupaten Kuningan.
Usai menerima laporan, tim piket Regu 1 UPT Damkar Kuningan langsung diterjunkan ke lokasi dengan 1 unit kendaraan KR4 RR. Sebanyak 5 personel dibantu anggota BPBD, Polsek Cigugur, dan Koramil Cigugur melakukan proses evakuasi.
