KUNINGAN – Sebanyak 612 personel Polres Kuningan disiagakan untuk mengamankan jalannya Pilkada Serentak 2024 di Kabupaten Kuningan. Jumlah tersebut akan diperkuat oleh ratusan personel TNI dan Brimob Polda Jabar, demi menjamin proses demokrasi berjalan aman, tertib, dan damai.
“Ada 1.927 TPS yang menjadi fokus pengamanan. Kami pastikan semua tahapan pilkada dikawal maksimal, dari masa kampanye hingga pencoblosan,” kata Kapolres Kuningan AKBP Willy Andrian, usai apel gelar pasukan Operasi Mantap Praja, Senin (12/8).
Menurut Willy, sinergi lintas sektor menjadi kunci utama menjaga stabilitas selama Pilkada berlangsung. Pengamanan juga akan menyasar tiga kecamatan rawan yang memiliki basis pemilih besar, yakni Kuningan, Ciawigebang, dan Darma.
“Di titik-titik rawan itu, Brimob akan diturunkan. Kami antisipasi potensi gesekan antarpendukung maupun gangguan kamtibmas lainnya,” ujarnya.
