CIAMIS – Suasana di kawasan Islamic Center Ciamis pada Minggu (10/8/2025) berubah menjadi arena adu cepat yang penuh euforia. Ratusan pembalap dari berbagai daerah memacu motornya dalam ajang Bhayangkara Open Road Race 2025 yang resmi dibuka oleh Bupati Ciamis Herdiat Sunarya, diwakili Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Andang Firman.
Event yang digelar Ikatan Motor Indonesia (IMI) Ciamis bekerja sama dengan Polres Ciamis dan Pemkab Ciamis ini berlangsung selama dua hari, menampilkan tiga agenda utama: kontes modifikasi yang diikuti 156 modifikator, road race dengan 336 pembalap, dan car meet up yang melibatkan 40 peserta roda empat.
Ketua Pelaksana, Teten Primajaya, menyampaikan apresiasinya atas dukungan pemerintah daerah.
“Setelah enam tahun tidak ada kegiatan, akhirnya ada lagi di Kabupaten Ciamis. Mudah-mudahan ini menjadi agenda rutin tahunan untuk menyalurkan bakat dan membina atlet-atlet berprestasi,” ujarnya.
Sekda Andang Firman dalam sambutannya menekankan pentingnya kontinuitas event ini.
“Terima kasih kepada IMI dan para tokoh road race. Semoga kegiatan ini bisa kita selenggarakan setiap tahun,” katanya.
