KUNINGAN — Rabu (23/7), di sebuah sudut Kabupaten Kuningan, puluhan remaja berkumpul bukan untuk sekadar rapat atau pelatihan biasa. Mereka datang membawa satu misi penting: membongkar sunyi seputar kesehatan mental.
Di bawah payung kegiatan Talk About Mental Health Vol. 2, Forum GenRe Kabupaten Kuningan menggelar forum yang tak hanya memberi ruang bicara, tapi juga ruang rasa. Bertemakan “Berani Bicara, Berani Berdaya”, kegiatan ini menjadi oase bagi remaja yang selama ini mungkin menyimpan beban sendiri dalam diam.
Sebanyak 32 peserta dari berbagai komunitas dan organisasi hadir dengan penuh antusiasme. Mereka disambut dengan suasana yang hangat, terbuka, dan jauh dari kesan formalitas kaku. Ada tawa, ada air mata. Tapi yang lebih penting: ada keberanian.
“Remaja sering dianggap kuat hanya karena muda. Padahal banyak dari kita menyimpan luka yang tak tampak,” ujar salah satu peserta dalam sesi berbagi cerita.
Acara ini memang dirancang untuk lebih dari sekadar ceramah. Ada sesi edukatif, diskusi terbuka, hingga curhat berani tentang tantangan kesehatan mental yang dihadapi remaja di era digital saat ini. Tidak berhenti di situ, peserta juga mendapatkan pembekalan tentang life planning dan teknik emotional regulation—dua hal penting yang kerap terlupakan dalam kurikulum formal.
