KUNINGAN – Kecelakaan lalu lintas terjadi di kawasan perempatan Kertawangunan, tepatnya di dekat warung sate Beber, Sabtu (25/10). Peristiwa itu sempat menghebohkan warga karena sebuah mobil tiba-tiba loncat ke halaman rumah warga.
Menurut keterangan Polsek Garawangi, petugas yang berada di lokasi kejadian, Bripka Rona Anggaran, kecelakaan melibatkan satu unit mobil yang dikemudikan oleh seorang perempuan berinisial E, warga Desa Ciomas, Kecamatan Ciawigebang.
Bripka Rona mengungkapkan, peristiwa bermula ketika mobil yang dikemudikan E melaju dari arah selatan menuju barat dan bermaksud berbelok ke kanan di perempatan. Namun, situasi berubah ketika muncul sepeda motor yang melintas dari arah berlawanan.
“Karena ada motor mungkin pengemudi kaget. Yang seharusnya menginjak rem malah menginjak gas, akhirnya mobil loncat ke pemukiman warga,” jelasnya.
Beruntung, insiden tersebut tidak menimbulkan korban jiwa maupun luka-luka. Meski demikian, beberapa bagian rumah warga dan mobil mengalami kerusakan akibat benturan.
“Alhamdulillah tidak ada korban. Hanya kerugian materi dari pihak pemilik rumah dan pemilik kendaraan,” tambahnya.
Evakuasi kendaraan berjalan lancar dengan bantuan anggota Polsek Garawangi dan warga sekitar. Tak butuh waktu lama, kendaraan berhasil diamankan, dan arus lalu lintas di sekitar lokasi kembali normal.
Petugas kepolisian menghimbau para pengemudi untuk lebih berhati-hati saat melintas di kawasan perempatan, terutama pada jam-jam padat lalu lintas.
Peristiwa tersebut menarik perhatian warga sekitar yang langsung berbondong-bondong datang ke lokasi untuk melihat kondisi mobil dan membantu proses evakuasi. Beberapa warga mengaku kaget karena suara benturan terdengar cukup keras hingga ke jalan utama.
Beruntung, respons cepat dari aparat kepolisian dan warga membuat situasi segera terkendali, sementara mobil yang sempat masuk ke halaman rumah warga berhasil dievakuasi tanpa menimbulkan kepanikan lebih lanjut. (Icu)
