KUNINGAN – Pemerintah Kabupaten Kuningan terus mengebut persiapan Rintisan Sekolah Rakyat (SR) yang dijadwalkan resmi dibuka pada 25 September 2025. Bupati Kuningan, Dian Rachmat Yanuar, menegaskan seluruh aspek harus rampung sebelum sekolah berasrama itu beroperasi.
“Sekolah Rakyat ini akan kita jadikan sekolah unggulan dengan guru pilihan dan program keunggulan di bidang olahraga, wisata, seni, dan budaya. Saya minta pada 25 September semua sudah siap, agar kegiatan belajar mengajar bisa dimulai pada 29 September,” kata Dian dalam rapat koordinasi di Gedung Setda Kuningan, Senin, (15/9/2025).
Wakil Bupati Kuningan, Tuti Andriani, menyebut seluruh perangkat daerah telah mendapat arahan jelas untuk menuntaskan persiapan. Dukungan juga datang dari Kementerian Sosial. Kepala Dinas Sosial Kuningan, Toto Toharudin, mengatakan pihaknya sudah enam kali berkoordinasi dengan Kemensos. Hasilnya, seluruh proposal Sekolah Rakyat, Kampung Siaga, hingga bantuan sosial warga telah disetujui.
“Tiga guru akan dikirim dari pusat. Sementara wali asuh, tenaga medis, dan staf tata usaha disiapkan daerah,” ujar Toto.
