KUNINGAN – Kasus dugaan pernikahan siri yang menyeret seorang tenaga pendidik perempuan di salah satu SMP Negeri di wilayah Ciawigebang, Kabupaten Kuningan, memantik perhatian publik. Persoalan ini bermula dari pengaduan seorang pria yang mengaku sebagai suami siri guru berinisial LN.
Pria tersebut mendatangi Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Kuningan dan menyampaikan keberatannya atas sikap sang istri yang ingin mengakhiri hubungan mereka. Menurut informasi yang dihimpun, guru perempuan itu tidak mengakui lagi pernikahan yang telah berlangsung secara agama, namun belum tercatat secara negara.
Kepala Sub Bagian Umum Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Kuningan, Hipa Fahmi, S.E., M.Si., membenarkan ihwal laporan tersebut. Ia menyebut perkara ini sudah berlangsung cukup lama dan masih dalam tahap fasilitasi mediasi oleh pihaknya.
“Yang bersangkutan (LN) memang mendapatkan pengaduan dari seseorang yang mengaku sebagai suaminya. Katanya mereka menikah siri. Tapi sekarang istrinya ini ingin cerai, sementara si pria bersikukuh ingin mempertahankan hubungan itu,” ujar Hipa, Selasa (22/7/2025).
Menurut Hipa, Dinas Pendidikan hanya bertindak sebagai pihak fasilitator. Ia menegaskan, dalam perkara semacam ini, dinas tetap bersikap normatif dan berjalan sesuai ketentuan. Pihaknya telah beberapa kali mempertemukan kedua belah pihak untuk mencari jalan tengah, namun belum menemukan titik temu.
“Kalau mereka saling sepakat dan ingin tetap bersama, tentu harus menikah secara resmi. Jangan lagi secara siri, karena itu tidak dibenarkan menurut aturan kepegawaian,” katanya.
Namun karena salah satu pihak dalam hal ini guru Perempuan bersikeras ingin mengakhiri hubungan, proses mediasi pun menemui kebuntuan.
