KUNINGAN –Pemberdayakan warga binaan yang selaras dengan program ketahanan pangan sukses dilaksanakan Lembaga Permasyarakatan Kelas IIA Kuningan. Hari ini, sabtu (30/8), Lapas Kuningan panen perdana budidaya melon.
Acara dilaksanakan di lahan Sarana Asimilasi dan Edukasi (SAE) Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA, Cijoho Kuningan. Program tersebut merupakan komitmen menindaklanjuti program Asta Cita Presiden Republik Indonesia.
Turut hadir pada kesempatan itu, Bupati Kuningan, Dr. Dian Rachmat Yanuar, Anggota DPRD Kuningan Komisi II, Sri Laelasari, serta pejabat lainnya. Dalam acara tersebut tak hanya memanen buah melon, tetapi menanam pohon kelapa, memanen ikan, dan menabur benih ikan.
Kepala Lapas Kuningan, Julianto Budhi Prasetyono menyampaikan, acara itu dilaksanakan sebagai upaya serius dalam menunjang program ketahanan pangan. Menurutnya, selaras dengan asta cita Presiden Prabowo, warga binaan juga turut serta menyukseskan program ketahanan pangan.
