Sementara itu, Bupati Kuningan, Dian Rachmat Yanuar mengapresiasi program tersebut. Menurutnya, hal itu patut dicontoh karena memiliki nilai ekonomis dan pemberdayaan yang kongkrit terhadap warga binaan yang ada.
”LP itu bukan tempat hukuman saja, tapi tempat pembinaan, meningkatkan kapasitas, menyadarkan kembali ke hal yang benar. Ini membuka kesempatan bagi siapapun untuk mempunyai usaha sampingan,” ujarnya.
Dian berharap, warga binaan Lapas Kuningan dapat memiliki keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang bermanfaat. Setelah bebas dari tahanan, para napi juga bisa membantu meningkatkan perekonomian bersama keluarga. (Icu)
