KUNINGAN – Gubernur Jawa Barat, Dedi Mulyadi atau KDM, mengeluarkan surat edaran larangan penggunaan dan penjualan knalpot brong. Menanggapi hal itu, Bupati Kuningan turut sepakat dan menyambut baik.
Menurutnya, Kabupaten Kuningan memiliki alam yang sejuk. Masyarakat hidup tentram dan damai. Karena hal itu, ketika lalu lintas atau berkendara masih menggunakan knalpot brong, dirinya menyebut kurang elok.
“Masyarakat kan ingin tenang, alam sejuk, kayanya kurang elok kalau dihiasi dengan suara kenalpot brong ini,” ujarnya, usai menghadiri Workshop Evaluasi Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Pembangunan Desa di salah satu hotel di Kuningan, Kamis (28/8)
Dian menyambut baik kebijakan yang langsung dikeluarkan orang nomor satu di Jawa Barat tersebut. Menurutnya, selain ketenangan yang diharapkan warga Kuningan, penggunaan knalpot brong dinilai mengganggu ketertiban lalulintas.
