Penerbitan izin itu merujuk pada rekomendasi Kapolda Jawa Barat Nomor B/REK-1413/III/YAN.2.1/2025/DITIK tertanggal 27 Agustus 2025, serta surat permohonan panitia Nomor 73/TDL/2025 yang diajukan pada 1 Agustus 2025.
Rencananya, balapan akan berlangsung pada 13–14 September 2025 dengan start dan finis di kawasan pertokoan Jalan Siliwangi, Kuningan. Panitia memperkirakan sekitar 500 peserta dari berbagai negara akan ikut serta.
Mabes Polri juga menetapkan beberapa ketentuan. Di antaranya, panitia wajib menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban, melaporkan kegiatan kepada kepolisian setempat tujuh hari sebelum dimulai, serta menyampaikan laporan hasil pelaksanaan maksimal satu minggu setelah acara berakhir. Izin bisa dibatalkan sewaktu-waktu jika situasi tidak memungkinkan.
Salinan surat izin itu ditembuskan kepada sejumlah pejabat, termasuk Kapolri, Kabaintelkam, Kapolda Jawa Barat, Karoanalis Baintelkam Polri, dan Dirsosbud Baintelkam Polri. (Icu)
