KUNINGAN – Program TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) ke-125 Kodim 0615/Kuningan memberikan manfaat nyata bagi masyarakat. Meski masih dalam proses pengerjaan, warga merasa sumringah dengan adanya pembangunan tersebut.
Pembangunan akses jalan baru, yang menjadi salah satu program tersebut, tidak hanya meningkatkan konektivitas antarwilayah, tetapi juga memudahkan aktivitas petani dan memperlancar warga yang hendak berziarah ke makam Syaikh Manshur Mulya Mangkuning Nagara di Bukit Mayana.
Salah satu warga, Nani Suryani, mengungkapkan bahwa akses ke lokasi tersebut cukup vital bagi warga. Karenanya, pembangunan yang dilaksanakan TNI sangat berdampak besar dalam kemudahan aktivitas masyarakat.
“Memang sering ada aktivitas masyarakat ke situ, biasanya peternak kambing yang mencari rumput, petani kopi, jagung, pala, dan ada juga yang sering ziarah ke makam yang ada di Bukit Mayana, cuma sekarang belum bisa kesana karena jalan masih dalam proses pengerjaan,” ujarnya.
Sebelum jalan dibangun melalui program TMMD, warga harus menempuh jalur memutar dengan medan terjal dan licin, terutama saat musim hujan. Kondisi tersebut sering menjadi kendala bagi petani yang membawa hasil panen maupun warga yang hendak berziarah.
