KUNINGAN — Di kaki bukit Kecamatan Kadugede, suara mesin molen bersahutan dengan langkah para prajurit dan warga. Enam hari sudah program TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa (TMMD) ke-125 bergulir di Desa Sindangjawa, Kuningan. Jalanan tanah sepanjang 1,3 kilometer kini mulai berubah wujud.
Kodim 0615/Kuningan melaporkan, pengupasan jalan telah rampung 100 persen. Rabat beton pun mulai menuang bentuk, meski baru mencapai 5,5 persen. Di tengah jalan yang basah semen, warga bahu membahu membantu tentara mengangkat material. “Gotong royong masih hidup di sini,” ujar Peltu Didin, Bati Bakti TNI Kodim 0615/Kuningan.
TMMD tak hanya bicara soal infrastruktur. Di sudut desa, tugu TMMD sedang dikerjakan dan kini mendekati separuh rampung. Namun sejumlah pekerjaan fisik lain, mulai dari rehabilitasi PAUD, pagar sekolah dasar, hingga pos kamling dan saluran irigasi, masih jalan di tempat. “Ini butuh waktu, tapi semangat warga jadi bahan bakar utama,” kata Didin.
