KUNINGAN – Desa Kutawaringin, Kecamatan Selajambe, menjadi titik strategis pelaksanaan TMMD (TNI Manunggal Membangun Desa) Imbangan ke-120 tahun anggaran 2024. Kegiatan pembangunan terpadu antara TNI dan Pemerintah Daerah ini resmi dibuka oleh Penjabat Bupati Kuningan, Raden Iip Hidajat, di Balai Desa Kutawaringin.
TMMD yang berlangsung hingga 6 Juni 2024 ini digelar serentak di 50 kabupaten/kota di Indonesia, dengan pendekatan bottom-up planning, meliputi program fisik dan non-fisik. Di Kuningan, program fisik yang dijalankan antara lain pembangunan rabat beton sepanjang 800 meter dan dua titik gorong-gorong.
“TMMD adalah bentuk nyata kepedulian TNI terhadap masyarakat dan negara, memperkuat budaya gotong royong yang mulai memudar,” kata Iip.
Selain pembangunan jalan dan drainase, TMMD juga akan menyasar peningkatan kualitas rumah tidak layak huni, jembatan, serta pengembangan SDM dan edukasi masyarakat.
Iip menekankan pentingnya keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan TMMD. Ia juga menyampaikan terima kasih kepada warga yang telah mewakafkan tanahnya untuk pembangunan jalan.
