MAGELANG – Para kepala daerah hasil Pilkada Serentak 2024 resmi mengikuti retreat dan orientasi kepemimpinan di Akademi Militer (Akmil) Magelang, Jawa Tengah, Jumat (21/2/2025). Kegiatan ini berlangsung selama 8 hari penuh pembinaan intensif oleh pemerintah pusat.
Salah satu yang terlihat antusias mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan ini adalah Bupati Kuningan, Dr. H. Dian Rachmat Yanuar, M.Si. Ia hadir bersama ratusan kepala daerah lainnya yang baru saja dilantik oleh Presiden Prabowo Subianto di Istana Kepresidenan, Jakarta.
Agenda pembukaan berlangsung khidmat. Para kepala daerah dikumpulkan di Wisma Sumbing, lalu diarahkan berbaris sesuai pleton masing-masing. Sekitar pukul 16.15 WIB, barisan peserta bergerak menuju Graha Utama Akmil, disambut atraksi Drum Band Canka Lokananta yang megah.
Wakil Menteri Dalam Negeri, Bima Arya, mengatakan bahwa program retreat ini merupakan amanat dari UU Nomor 23 Tahun 2014 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah.
“Ini bagian dari pembinaan, pengawasan, dan penguatan kapasitas kepala daerah. Retreat ini bukan sekadar seremoni, tapi bentuk keseriusan pemerintah untuk menghadirkan kepemimpinan yang solid dan terarah di daerah,” tegas Bima kepada wartawan.
