KUNINGAN – Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Kuningan resmi menahan RMP, tersangka kasus dugaan penggelapan dana nasabah bank milik pemerintah daerah (BUMD) dengan nilai kerugian ditaksir mencapai 9 miliar. Penahanan dilakukan usai penyidik mengantongi dua alat bukti yang dianggap cukup untuk menjerat RMP.
Kepala Kejari Kuningan, Ikhwanul Ridwan Saragih, didampingi Kepala Seksi Intelijen Brian Kukuh Mediarto dan Kepala Seksi Pidana Khusus (Pidsus) Dyofa Yudhistira, menyampaikan bahwa RMP hadir memenuhi panggilan penyidik secara kooperatif. Setelah menjalani pemeriksaan, ia langsung ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dan ditahan selama 20 hari ke depan di Lapas Kelas IIA Kuningan.
“Penetapan tersangka ini berdasarkan dua alat bukti yang sudah dikumpulkan tim penyidik. Setelah itu dilakukan penahanan selama 20 hari,” kata Ikhwanul, Kamis, (2/10/2025) sore.
Tidak hanya menahan tersangka, tim Pidsus juga melakukan penggeledahan di dua lokasi, yakni rumah pribadi RMP di Perumahan Alam Asri, Desa Kasturi, serta sebuah tempat yang diduga menjadi lokasi bisnisnya di Jalan Juanda. Dari penggeledahan tersebut, sejumlah barang bukti berhasil disita.
“Beberapa item sudah kami sita, ada benda bergerak, uang tunai, hingga emas. Jumlah pastinya akan kami update setelah selesai inventarisasi,” ujar Ikhwanul.
Untuk memperkuat proses penyidikan, Kejari Kuningan juga melayangkan surat kepada Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) guna memblokir tiga rekening atas nama RMP. Langkah ini ditempuh agar dugaan aliran dana hasil tindak pidana tidak berpindah tangan atau disalahgunakan.
Kasus ini menjadi perhatian publik karena menyangkut dana nasabah dengan kerugian fantastis hingga 9 miliar. Masyarakat mempertanyakan lemahnya sistem pengawasan internal di bank BUMD yang seharusnya memiliki kontrol ketat terhadap transaksi dan pengelolaan dana.
Ikhwanul menegaskan, pihaknya tidak ingin berspekulasi lebih jauh sebelum semua barang bukti diverifikasi. “Biarkan kami bekerja. Semua perkembangan akan kami sampaikan secara resmi,” katanya.
