Cikalpedia.id – Jam dinding menunjukkan pukul 04.57. Suara alarm di ponsel retak-retak, karena speakernya sempat kena air waktu manggung dua malam lalu. Tapi Bela tetap bangun. Matanya masih berat, suaranya masih serak. Namun ia tahu, radio tak bisa menunggu.
Dengan langkah pasti, ia menuju studio Megaswara FM. Sambil menyeduh kopi hitam di gelas sisa acara kemarin, ia melirik naskah siaran yang sudah lecek. Tapi baginya, itu bukan sekadar naskah. Itu teman setia, yang menemaninya menembus sunyi pagi dan membangunkan pendengar setia dari kantuknya.
“Selamat pagi, Sobat Megaswara… semoga pagi ini kamu bangun dengan semangat yang baru,” ucapnya melalui mikrofon, suaranya mengalir lembut seperti angin yang mengetuk jendela desa.
Tak banyak yang tahu, sebelum ke studio tadi, Bela hanya tidur dua jam. Semalam ia baru pulang dari manggung di dusun Liang Undur-undur, lokasi terpencil yang harus dijangkau dengan motor trail dan senter kepala.
Di sana, panggung hanya terdiri dari papan triplek dan satu lampu bohlam. Penontonnya anak-anak desa, emak-emak, dan para petani. Tak ada bayaran malam itu. Tapi ketika melihat senyum seorang nenek yang ikut berdendang di bawah panggung kecil itu, Bela tahu: ia tak rugi apa-apa.
Bela bukan siapa-siapa dua puluh tahun lalu. Ia mulai sebagai penyiar magang di Gema FM, belajar dari bawah, ngedit kaset, nyapu studio, sampai ganti-ganti playlist karena penyiar utama sakit. Ia tekun, meski kadang hanya dapat upah nasi bungkus. Tapi dari situlah suara hatinya tumbuh.
Selama 13 tahun di Gema, lalu 6 tahun di Tazkia FM, Bela jadi nama yang dikenal. Tapi hidup tak selalu lunak. Pernah ia ditipu EO, manggung jauh-jauh tapi dibayar dengan janji kosong. Pernah juga hujan deras merusak sound system miliknya, padahal itu alat hasil mencicil dua tahun.
