KUNINGAN – Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Disdikbud) Kabupaten Kuningan secara resmi meluncurkan aplikasi “Disdikbud Smart Service (DSS)”. Aplikasi ini menandai babak baru dalam upaya digitalisasi pelayanan publik di sektor pendidikan Kuningan, dirancang untuk menghadirkan kemudahan, efisiensi, dan transparansi dalam setiap proses pelayanan.
DSS, sebuah inovasi layanan terpadu yang digagas langsung oleh Kepala Disdikbud Kuningan, U. Kusmana, S.Sos., M.Si., diyakini menjadi jawaban atas tuntutan reformasi birokrasi dan adaptasi terhadap era digital, khususnya di lingkungan pendidikan daerah.
Acara peluncuran DSS digelar secara hibrid pada Jumat (31/10/2025). Peluncuran luring dipusatkan di SMP Negeri 1 Jalaksana, sementara ribuan peserta lainnya mengikuti secara daring melalui Zoom dan kanal YouTube resmi Disdikbud Kuningan. Kegiatan ini dihadiri oleh ratusan pemangku kepentingan, mulai dari pejabat internal Disdikbud, para kepala sekolah TK/PAUD, SD, dan SMP, pengawas, korwas, hingga Ketua organisasi profesi seperti PGRI dan IPI.
Dalam sambutan, Kadiskdikbud Kuningan, U. Kusmana menyebut kehadiran Disdikbud Smart Service sebagai langkah nyata komitmen dinas yang ia pimpin dalam memperkuat tata kelola pendidikan berbasis teknologi.
“DSS ini merupakan upaya kami untuk menghadirkan pelayanan publik yang cepat, mudah diakses, dan transparan. Masyarakat kini bisa mendapatkan informasi pendidikan tanpa harus datang langsung ke kantor,” ujar Uu, menekankan perubahan paradigma dari pelayanan konvensional menuju layanan digital.
Uu menjelaskan bahwa aplikasi DSS telah dikembangkan secara bertahap selama enam bulan terakhir oleh Tim IT Disdikbud. Proses pengembangannya dilakukan secara partisipatif, melibatkan uji coba dan sosialisasi di berbagai satuan Pendidikan, mulai dari dari TK/PAUD hingga SMP, untuk memastikan sistem benar-benar siap dan user-friendly bagi operator sekolah dan masyarakat.
Menurutnya, DSS tidak hanya sekadar platform layanan, melainkan simbol dari transformasi digital di lingkungan pendidikan daerah. “Kami ingin seluruh layanan Disdikbud hadir dalam genggaman tangan masyarakat. Lewat DSS, mereka bisa mengakses data sekolah, informasi prestasi, hingga menyampaikan pengaduan dengan cepat dan responsif,” katanya.
Ia menguraikan tiga manfaat utama dari kehadiran DSS yang diharapkan menjadi pendorong reformasi birokrasi, pertama Meningkatkan Mutu Layanan Pendidikan: Menyediakan informasi dan layanan administrasi secara digital dan real-time, kemudian Mempercepat Proses Pelayanan Publik, Memangkas birokrasi dan waktu tunggu dalam pengurusan dokumen dan informasi. Terakhir Mendorong Efisiensi dan Akuntabilitas, Dengan sistem digital yang terintegrasi, seluruh proses layanan terekam, sehingga tata kelola pendidikan menjadi lebih terbuka dan komunikatif.
