KUNINGAN – Upaya pelestarian budaya lokal terus digaungkan Pemerintah Kabupaten Kuningan. Kali ini, Bupati Kuningan H. Acep Purnama menghadiri Pesta Dadung, sebuah tradisi budaya khas masyarakat Desa Legokherang, Kecamatan Cilebak, Sabtu (28/10).
Acara yang mengusung tema “Geusan Ngahontal Udagan Anu Utama” ini turut dihadiri oleh Kepala Bidang Kebudayaan Disdik Kuningan Emup Muplihudin, Sekcam Cilebak, Kepala Desa Legokherang Warsim, serta para kepala desa dari wilayah sekitar Kecamatan Cilebak.
Tradisi Leluhur yang Terus Dilestarikan
Kepala Desa Legokherang, Warsim, menyebut bahwa Pesta Dadung merupakan warisan budaya leluhur masyarakat Sunda agraris yang rutin digelar sebagai bentuk rasa syukur dan refleksi kearifan lokal.
“Tradisi ini seperti juga sedekah bumi, menjadi bagian dari jati diri warga Desa Legokherang. Ini bentuk kepedulian kami dalam menjaga nilai-nilai budaya yang diwariskan oleh leluhur agar tetap hidup dan relevan,” ujar Warsim.
