KUNINGAN – Badan Pengawas Pemilu (Bawaslu) Kabupaten Kuningan tengah menelusuri dugaan tindakan persekusi yang melibatkan salah satu calon Wakil Bupati Kuningan terhadap petugas Pengawas Kelurahan/Desa (PKD) saat pemantauan kegiatan kampanye, Minggu lalu.
Koordinator Divisi Hukum dan Penyelesaian Sengketa Bawaslu Kuningan, Dadan Yuardan Firdaus, menyebutkan bahwa pihaknya menerima informasi secara lisan terkait kejadian tersebut, namun masih menunggu Laporan Hasil Pengawasan (LHP) dari Panwascam di lokasi.
“Informasinya, PKD hadir karena menerima laporan dari masyarakat. Panwascam pun datang ke lokasi, tapi tidak ada pemberitahuan kampanye dari tim paslon,” ujar Dadan kepada wartawan, Senin, 7 Oktober 2024.
Menurut Dadan, insiden bermula saat petugas Panwas bertanya soal absennya laporan kegiatan. Salah satu orang yang diduga tim sukses lantas mendekati calon wakil bupati, yang tak lama kemudian menghampiri petugas PKD. Insiden persekusi diduga terjadi setelah itu.
Namun demikian, Bawaslu belum bisa menyimpulkan secara pasti. “Kami masih menunggu laporan lengkap dari Panwascam. Kalau terbukti ada tindakan persekusi, itu masuk ke dalam pelanggaran pidana pemilu,” tegas Dadan.
