KUNINGAN – Gelaran Kuningan Fair tahun ini menuai sorotan dari pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) lokal. Pasalnya, jumlah pengunjung dinilai lebih sepi dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya, sehingga berdampak pada minimnya transaksi penjualan.
Selain faktor sepinya pengunjung, para pelaku UMKM juga mengeluhkan banyaknya pedagang yang berasal dari luar daerah, seperti Cianjur, Tasikmalaya, hingga Garut. Hal ini dinilai menambah persaingan yang kurang sehat bagi UMKM setempat yang justru seharusnya menjadi tuan rumah dalam event tahunan itu.
“Seharusnya Kuningan Fair bisa menjadi ajang promosi bagi UMKM lokal. Tapi kenyataannya banyak yang dari luar daerah, sementara kami yang asli sini malah kurang dilirik,” ujar Cicih penjual Es dan Gorengan, Selasa, (9/1).
Keluhan lain datang terkait biaya sewa tenant yang cukup tinggi. Untuk bisa berjualan di arena Kuningan Fair, pelaku UMKM harus mengeluarkan biaya sewa hingga Rp3 juta. Angka tersebut dinilai memberatkan, apalagi dengan kondisi pengunjung yang tidak seramai biasanya.
Dengan kondisi tersebut, banyak pelaku UMKM berharap agar pemerintah daerah dan penyelenggara lebih memperhatikan kepentingan UMKM lokal, baik dari segi biaya maupun porsi keterlibatan, agar ke depan Kuningan Fair benar-benar menjadi etalase kebanggaan ekonomi daerah. (Icu)
